How Private Investigators Help Patent Litigators

An excellent article about how Private Investigators could help in patent litigation investigations. written by James Mintz and Staci Dresher of The Mintz Group.

Patent litigation often turns on obscure and long-buried facts, and some private investigative firms are developing expertise that can help patent counsel – on both the defendant and plaintiff sides – find information to support and even shape litigation strategy. Read more

Identity Theft a Continuing Threat

Identity theft is continually on the rise, stretching law enforcement resources to a breaking point.  Though there are laws already on the books that cover the broad range of offenses, getting a law enforcement agency to do an investigation will be a chore.  I’m sure some agencies will take a report, if you prepare one,  but beyond that you might be the one that will need to do the follow up. I encourage you to do that.  What might start out as a small loss, can quickly grow to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I have worked enough of these cases, collected the documentary evidence, interviewed witnesses, obtained video, conducted surveillance, and continually updated federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.  While the local agencies have been very helpful and arrested many of the perpetrators, it is usually the federal law enforcement agencies that have had the greatest impact based on the number of years the criminal is sent to prison.  However, for the case to go federal the dollar loss usually needs to be significant.

I have found the United States Secret Service and the United States Social Security Special Agents to be the most proactive in these cases.

Gun Control via the United Nations

GUN CONTROL!!! The United Nations might be conspiring with the majority of it’s members to set U.S. Firearms policy.  Can they undermine our Constitution? Can an organization whose members are some of the worst humans rights violators, dictate to citizens of the United States what our Rights should be.

While it might seem impossible, you might want to view youtube, and then reconsider.

Is it true that Arab and Islamic states consistently vote against the U.S. in the United Nations? You be the judge.  View Snopes.com and then decide for yourself. If you do your own in-depth research, it might shock you. Then look at what the United States gives to these same countries, in foreign aid.

Then examine whether the United States foreign aid to those countries results in their supporting us in critical votes. Read more

I believe that it is time to curtail foreign aid to those member countries that continue to have a propensity to violate civil rights and continue to vote against the United States in the U.N. General Assembly.   It is time for the Citizens of the United States to urge our own government to stop wasting billions of dollars in foreign aid, and rebuild our nation and it’s economy.

Copper Thefts in Gig Harbor

Gig Harbor, Washington, continues to be victimized by individuals who are stealing copper, wherever it can be found.  The latest incidents involve the cutting of wiring leading to lighting structures. This is very costly to the community and even puts our children at risk.  If these wires are charged and exposed, coming into contact with them could be shocking to say the least.

I know you expect the police to investigate and resolve this, but don’t count on it.  They are already overworked and short on manpower.  It is your duty as a concerned citizen to be vigilant and report suspicious activity to law enforcement immediately.  Critical information such as the exact location of the incident, your observations, a vehicle description (make and color), a license plate number, and a description of the individuals involved, would be very useful.

If you have personal knowledge about these incidents, it is time to STAND UP and contact Gig Harbor Police immediately.
